Elegant, heavy, sterling silver cigarette box by famous retailer Mappin & Webb, fully hallmarked for London, 1939. Crisp engine-turned decoration with an unengraved cartouche. Original silk-lined interior with three compartments. Very good vintage condition with a clean hinge and only light surface wear. Closes well. Weight: 495 g (silver content partly reduced by lining).
