This silver plate is probably from eighteenth century. Made of hammered and chiselled high-grade heavy silver. It follows the Baroque style with a double six-lobed or scalloped rim. It has a maker's or assay mark, next to it a later Dutch silver purity mark (Z1, 925-1000) and a monogram to the front. The reverse is inscribed towards the rim with a symbol depicting two arrows (family crest?) Except for a small surface crack at the rim as pictured this plate is in good condition. Dimensions: it stands 26 mm high and 215 mm in diameter.
