LUC Armchair – Inspired by Iconic Design, Crafted for Comfort This chair originally came from a café in Warsaw that has since closed. Its wooden components were meticulously restored — sanded down and refinished — while the cushions were crafted entirely anew. It reflects HULE’s philosophy in action: taking responsibility for our products and embracing the SECOND CHANCE program, which allows pre-owned pieces to be renewed, refined, and given a fresh life. A true collector's item for those who appreciate both design and functionality. While designing the armchair, we focused on creating a perfect balance between comfort and practicality. One of our key inspirations was the iconic Red and Blue Rietveld Chair, which influenced the minimalist yet striking aesthetic. Designed to encourage active use—whether for conversations, reading, or working—the carefully angled backrest ensures optimal comfort and support for effective relaxation. Our furniture are crafted for longevity and are trusted by cafés and other public spaces for their robustness. The frame is made from lacquered birch plywood, complemented by plush upholstered cushions, all supported by sturdy, powder-coated steel legs.
