Wine stored in a wine cellar at the right temperature and good humidity. This wine is produced in the heart of Château Taillefer's 12 hectares of vineyards, a single vineyard that is among the largest in the Pomerol appellation. Château Taillefer takes its name from the unique soils surrounding the beautiful Pomerol estate: these are rich in iron oxide, and the elders used to say that the plow “cut iron” when plowing. It is these unique earthy residues that give the estate's wine its distinctive aromas of truffle and violet.
