Yonezawa & E.T. Co. (Eiichiro Tomiyama Co.) - Comet Jetliner De Havilland - Japan 1950's Large and beautiful Comet Jetliner De Havilland made by Yonezawa and E.T. Co. Hard to find in a good condition. The Jetliner has an airspan of 48 cm. Tin litho airplane with nice graphics. The Jetliner has four engines where flint can be inserted. The flint metal holders can be unscrewed. The red plastic covers over the sparking engines are intact. The Jetliner is in a very good condition. It works by friction motor and are excellent working. It's heavy and you only have to push light to get it rolling. I hast engine noise when it starts rolling. The de Havilland Comet suffered a series of fatal accidents due to design flaws, particularly metal fatigue at the square windows, which resulted in the aircraft being permanently withdrawn from service in 1954.
