His degree in archaeology from one of the best British universities and passion for Chinese art is reflected in this beautiful plate. A fine Chinese blue and white plate decorated at the centre with a phoenix perched on a rock, the underside with mark. Width: 21.5 cm. Height: 3 cm. Condition: Very good, with vibrant blue underglaze blue; a few manufacturing flaws such as glaze gaps on the rim. NO repairs. NO cracks.
