The covers of these 1930s Simenon books were thin and fragile, which means very few of them have been preserved. The books in this collection were bought new and have remained in the family for the past 90 years. Ex libris inside of the covers for all of them. No inscriptions, relatively little wear, hardly any discolouration, no foxing/spotting. Really just a lovely collection, the best way to read Simenon.
