This is a charming pair of Sōsaku Kokeshi (creative kokeshi), each crafted with a distinctly artistic and playful expression. Unlike traditional kokeshi, these creative pieces are made with greater artistic freedom and individuality, resulting in highly collectible, one-of-a-kind works.

Both dolls feature hand-painted faces with soft, expressive eyes and warm natural tones. Their most striking characteristic is the use of natural tree bark sections as the body, creating a rustic texture unique to the wood. Onto this natural bark, delicate Nihonga-style landscape paintings have been applied—one depicting a lakeside village and the other showing a serene countryside scene with trees and distant mountains. Shipping
The lot will be carefully packaged and sent by mainly Japan Post or DHL depend on the situation.
It will be shipped from Japan, so it takes about 2-3 weeks to receive normally.

as much as possible for packaging materials in order to protect the environment.

Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost.
