An undamaged cluster of marcasite with the typical cock's comb habit that in this case appears to be a bit more subdued than usual, with only a few crenellations on each tabular, roughly rectangular shaped crystal, which display a very high brassy luster with sharp corners and a debuted surface finish that is highly reflective but more glittery than mirror like. The marcasite also appears accented by oquerous rombohedral dolomite and siderite crystals with a posterior generation of ivory white calcite with excellent pearly luster, all of which add great extra contrast and texture variation.
