Art Nouveau female bust by Bernhard Bloch, signed Dubitzky. Title "L'Espérance" (Hope). The bust depicts a young woman with an elegant hairstyle "chignon" typical of the time around 1900. She gazes hopefully into the distance. The bust is 50 cm high and made out of a ceramic material in green and brown tones. The condition is good, there is some colour loss. A piece of the shoulder is restored (see photo).
