For sale is an authentic large-format 19th-century Admiral FitzRoy barometer, consisting of: – main mercury barometer tube, – storm-glass weather predictor, – thermometer, – original Gothic-style printed scales, – dark stained wooden case. The original instruction label is preserved on the back. Condition: – Overall good condition for its age. – The wooden case shows patina, surface wear, minor losses and age-related marks. – One decorative wooden element on the top section is missing (visible in the photos). – Printed internal charts with age spots and browning. – Metal parts with oxidation. – Glass tubes intact. – Original back fixing mechanism present.
