Cast iron Christmas tree stand, probably made in Germany / GDR in the middle of the 20th century. It comes with the old paint and fixing screws, and it shows its age nicely. With time it lost some paint and the end key from one of the screws - and gained a small crack (not affecting the stability, photo 9), some rust and a nice patina. The colors are still bright, and it is ready for the next round. Size: 22.5 x 22.5 cm at the base, 14 cm height. The holding tube has an internal depth of 7 cm, and an opening diameter of 4.5 cm which narrows to 3.5 cm towards the bottom.
