Heinrichsen Tin Soldiers "Zinn figuren"– WW1 produced around 1914 – German Manufacturer – 3 Display Frames Beautiful collection of original Heinrichsen tin soldiers, presented in three wooden display frames. These finely cast and hand-painted figures come from one of Germany’s oldest and most respected toy soldier manufacturers. About Heinrichsen The firm Johann Georg Heinrichsen, founded in Nuremberg in 1790, is considered one of the oldest producers of flat tin soldiers (“Zinnfiguren”) in the world. Heinrichsen quickly became renowned for its craftsmanship, detailed engraving, and hand-painted miniature artwork. For more than two centuries, the company produced civilian, military, and historical sets that are now highly collectible. During the late 19th and early 20th century, Heinrichsen soldiers were not only collector’s pieces—they were real toys, played with by children across Germany and Europe. These figures were often arranged into battle scenes, dioramas, and imaginative play, which makes surviving examples especially charming and historically significant. The Figures in This Lot The collection consists of three framed sets, each containing a selection of original Heinrichsen flat tin soldiers. The soldiers appear to show infantrymen in various poses—standing, kneeling, firing, advancing, and prone—as well as several support or crew-type figures. Material: hand-painted flat tin (‘Zinnfiguren’) French Army 1870-1914 German Army around 1900=1914 since the Stahlhelm waa introduced in 1916 these soldiers can be dated around that time Maker: Heinrichsen, Nuremberg (Germany) Condition: Generally good; some figures may show small signs of age or handling consistent with vintage tin soldiers that were originally intended for play. The frames provide an attractive way to display the collection, while still preserving the character and charm of these historic miniatures. A Wonderful Collectible A lovely and atmospheric set for collectors of tin soldiers, German toy history, or early European military miniatures. Also ideal for display alongside books or dioramas about toy soldier history. ** Unfortunately one glass frame is broken I will try to find the same frame but I cannot guarantee that I will find it**
