Vintage Silver-Plated Bronze Teaching Buddha Statue – Abhaya Mudra (Protection & Fearlessness) – Nepalese/Tibetan Style A beautifully detailed, antique-finished silver-plated bronze statue of Shakyamuni Buddha in the classic "Teaching" or "Protection" pose (right hand raised in Abhaya Mudra – "Have no fear", left hand in Varada Mudra or resting in meditation). This piece showcases exceptional craftsmanship with intricately engraved robes flowing naturally over the body, elaborate floral and dragon motifs across the chest and back, and a finely detailed double-lotus throne with stylized petal edging. The ushnisha (topknot), elongated earlobes, serene downcast eyes, and gentle smile are all classically rendered in the Himalayan Buddhist tradition (Nepal/Newari or Tibetan style). The statue has a lovely aged silver patina with subtle golden highlights in the recesses, giving it an authentic vintage appearance while remaining in excellent condition.
