A nice earlier Kangxi period blue and white dish, decorated with a central scene of two Feng huang 凤凰 flying above a seated immortal holding a lotus bud and his attendant near a rocky shore. The cavetto shows alternating stylized flower and cash-coin decoration. The rim is decorated with beautiful flowers; peonies, prunus blossoms & lotus flowers.
