◆一分銀 ichibun-gin
Ichibu-gin is a type of silver coin issued during the Edo period (1603-1868). With a face value of one gold quarter, four pieces of this coin were equivalent to one koban. It was used for a wide range of purposes, from daily transactions by commoners to payment of salaries and wages to samurai.
◆一朱銀 One Jushi Silver Coin in the Edo period
The “isshu-gin” is a type of rectangular, strip-shaped silver coin that circulated in the late Edo period and was used as a counting coin. Its face value is 1/4 of a “ichibun-gin 一分銀” and 1/16 of a “koban no ichiryo 一両”.
These are a total of 4 sets.
