Rare articulated fossil toad Callobatrachus sanyanensis from the age of dinosaurs. Frogs and toads are not easy to fossilize because of their weak bones. So toads and frogs fossils are rare. It measures 17 cm and every single bone is perfectly there, even the remains of the tiny dentition is visible. The Callobatrachus sanyanensis is not only the most primitive discoglossid toad fossil among tailless amphibians discovered for the first time in Asia, but also the second Mesozoic discoglossid toad with a complete skeleton discovered in the world.
