Good condition, has some creases and dirt. Author: Utagawa Kunatora II (dates unknown – 1896) Utagawa Kunatora II was an ukiyo-e artist active during the Meiji period. He was a pupil of Utagawa Kunisada III. His real family name was Watanabe, and his given name was Ushitārō. He first used the artist name Masakazu (政員, Masakazu), and later adopted the name Kunatora. Over the course of his career, he also used several other art names, including Baien (梅筵), Baien/Umeyoen (梅園), and Utatōra (歌虎). Kunatora II was active primarily during the 1880s–1890s (Meiji 20s) and produced a number of color woodblock prints depicting the First Sino-Japanese War (1894–1895). NOTICE
