Vintage MuDu Doublematic (1957–62) automatic gold plated gents wristwatch with a date indicator Short-lived Geneva project by Brevinex SA – a patent firm with zero watch background. Trademarks “MuDu” & “Doublematic” registered 1957 jointly with Kurt Dubach (Gigon SA/Felsa). Dubach exited 1960–62. Watches used Mido cal. 1300C (mostly) or Felsa movements (That's the case with this exact watch, Felsa Cal. 4007N); cases/dials in Brevinex typeface also sold as Eterna, Wakmann, etc. Brevinex licensed the design, did not manufacture. Likely a Mustang Watch + Dubach collaboration (“MuDu” = Mustang-Dubach). Production tiny, ceased early 1960s. Extremely rare today.
