Beautiful and rare set from the Hertog Jan Barrel-Aged series. The set has been stored horizontally in a dry, dark cellar with a constant temperature of 15 degrees Celsius. As shown in the photos, the set is offered complete with the beers, tubes, information booklets, and the matching glasses. A few of the tubes have slight dents on the back. Other than that, the set is in excellent condition. Description from the brewer: For the special Barrel-Aged series, we travelled to Scotland at the beginning of 2020 to learn more about each region, discover their customs, and collect the stories that are so characteristic of those areas. We quickly discovered that the Scots are incredibly hospitable! It is also true that every region has its own flavour and character, which you can clearly taste in this edition of Grand Prestige Barrel-Aged 2020. For this Scottish Barrel-Aged release, we selected four beautiful whiskies from four different whisky regions, each with its own flavour profile. The barrels in which our Grand Prestige matured came from Speyside, the Highlands, the Lowlands, and Islay.
