The surface displays a striking green and reddish-brown patina, created by controlled oxidation and heat treatment — a hallmark of quality Japanese copper artistry. The underside bears an inscription commemorating the 45th Anniversary of the Tokai Cooperative Association, suggesting it was made as a presentation or limited edition work.
