Rums from 1971 and 1978 are blended in one cask, and rums from 1974 and 1980 in another. The casks used are over 50 years old, and after 15 months of aging, they are blended to showcase these rums in a single, exquisite bottle. Both intense and indulgent, this exceptional edition is remarkably well-balanced : a smooth texture and a sweetness that elegantly dries to a long, warm, and slightly spicy (black pepper) finish with hints of espresso and dark chocolate.
