A beautiful and unique antique Caucasian kilim from Karabakh, knotted in the early 20th century around 1920 in the Nagorno-Karabakh region, whose population was predominantly of Armenian origin. Kilims are very elegant and lightweight flat woven fabrics. The example in question is a very important Kelley-shaped kilim, with a classical Caucasian geometric iconography, a red background with an imposing and beautiful border band in sparkling colors that contrast with the red and black characteristic of Karabakh, vegetable dyes, excellent condition.
