This Yamaha G-231 II lives up to Yamaha's reputation for building solid, worthy and affordable acoustic guitars. It has been played quite a bit, as evidenced by a few nicks in the top and even a tiny hole in the side (lower bout).* But it still sounds very good and plays easily—not a concert instrument, but a fine player's guitar. It features a cedar top (traditional amber stain)and mahogany back and sides. The neck appears to be either mahogany or nato, with rosewood fingerboard and matching rosewood bridge. like new! see photos! A case is included.
