This elegant obidome is crafted using the traditional 輪島塗 (Wajima-nuri) lacquer technique, renowned for its durability and refined beauty. Made by Sakakyu (坂久製), the piece features a gold maki-e floral motif rendered on a glossy black urushi lacquer surface. Although unused, the item shows minor aging on the back. The front surface remains clean and beautifully preserved. The obidome comes with its original wooden box and maker’s paper slip, making it an excellent addition to collections of Japanese lacquerware or kimono accessories.
