Scarce souvenir sheet issued for the National Stamp Exhibition in Bratislava, 1937 (Celostátna Výstava Poštových Známok), featuring two stamps bearing the “Wir sind frei!” German occupation overprint applied during the annexation period. The sheet is additionally cancelled with matching “Wir sind frei!” propaganda postmarks featuring the imperial eagle. These overprints and cancellations are associated with the transitional period leading up to the German occupation, making this a historically significant item for postal history collectors.
