The concentrated and complex nose is deep, pure and phenolic as well as saline and flinty, with iodine and frankincense notes. Full-bodied, round and rich on the palate, this is a savory, saline and refreshing, dry but very intense and mouth-filling Riesling with fine tannins structuring a long, intense and powerful finish. Due to its richness, it's not as pure and fresh at this stage as the "generic" Pechstein GG, but surely it's a long-distance runner. 13% stated alcohol. Natural cork stopper. Tasted in November 2022.
