Vintage Japanese "Sosaku" (Creative) Kokeshi Doll — A "Kojo" (Workshop) Creation Titled "Kosode": A Wooden Doll Adorned in a Floral Kimono

This is an exquisite vintage "Sosaku" (Creative) Kokeshi doll, crafted by the renowned Japanese artisan Kojo (Kosode / Workshop). Hand-carved from solid wood, the doll features a rich, deep brown finish and is adorned with a hand-painted floral kimono motif.
Details and Features:
Material: Solid wood (believed to be cherry or maple), featuring a polished surface finish.
Design: A "Sosaku" Kokeshi style that blends traditional aesthetics with modern sensibilities; the doll is depicted wearing a traditional "Kosode" kimono, painted with delicate yellow floral patterns, and features an iconic red bow accenting her hair bun.
Condition: In excellent vintage condition, showing only minor signs of age. There are no cracks or chips, and the paintwork and protective lacquer remain as vibrant as the day they were created.
Signature: The artist's signature is carved into the base, serving as an authenticating mark of its origin and craftsmanship.
This piece serves as a superb example of mid-20th-century Japanese folk art—an ideal choice whether as a collectible item of traditional craftsmanship or as a decorative accent for your interior space. The item will be carefully packaged prior to shipment to ensure safe delivery, and full shipping tracking will be provided throughout the transit process.
