An aventurine quartz elehant bead talisman from the ancient Burmese, Samon Valley culture . First Millennium BC.
In good condition. It has been cleaned partly by hand, but the nice antique patina is preserved. Original, ancient, hand cutting,carving,boring and grinding. Traces of use and age on its surface.
Purchased in Yangon mid 90's by Dr.Zelnik on the local art market.
