This specimen features interjoined cubic pyrite crystals with a brilliant gold color and high luster. Often called "fool's gold" due to their resemblance to real gold, these crystals naturally form this way in the earth, but sometimes need to be reglued as they can fall apart during extraction. Originating from Navajún, La Rioja, Spain, this piece is of very good quality and makes a remarkable addition to any fine mineral collection.
