Bishamonten, Kisshoten, and Zenshi Doji triad - 雕像 石 - 日本

This is an exceptionally rare stone triad sculpture featuring Bishamonten 毘沙門天像 at the center, flanked by Kisshōten 吉祥天 and Zennishi Dōji 善膩師童子 as attendant figures. Stone sculptures of these deities are seldom encountered, and examples in which all three figures—Bishamonten, Kisshōten, and Zennishi Dōji—are preserved together as a complete set are extremely rare. The sculpture was created around 1926. As Taishō 15 corresponds to the year 1926, this work was erected approximately 100 years ago. It comes with a talisman from Naritasan Shinshoji Temple 成田山新勝寺. Naritasan Shinshoji Temple is the head temple of the Chizan school of Shingon Buddhism.
