Our refined 50 & 50 wine was born from the friendship that binds the owners of Avignonesi a Montepulciano and Capannelle in Chianti. The first vintage of 50 & 50 was 1988: during a jovial dinner the exes of the two owners began to compare the their wines have obtained this exceptional blend of 50% Sangiovese from Capannelle and 50% Merlot from Avignonesi.
