The estate is located in an ideal terroir for Sangiovese and for the great wines that are produced here: the vineyards live at heights between 300 and 400 metres, the well-draining soils have a sunny and favorable south-west exposure. Obsessive care in the vineyard, high densities and low yields make it possible to produce a great Brunello, with an elegant texture and admirable longevity. Castelgiocondo is Brunello di Montalcino that comes from a very rigorous selection of only Sangiovese grapes in the vineyard, where all the characteristics necessary to enhance this ancient vine are scrupulously respected. Thus, after a slow maturation both in casks and in large casks, a wine of great structure, elegant, balanced, with intense aromas and great finesse was born.
