Kinoshita Itsuun (1800-1866) was a nanga painter active during late Edo period. He was born in Nagasaki. He inherited the family lineage of medic, active in Nagasaki for generations, and studied painting while working as a doctor. Firstly, he entered the school of Ishizaki Yushi and later went to Kyoto to learn the methods of the Shijo school and the revival of Yamato-e paintings. He is said to be the leading Nagasaki nanga painter. Kinoshita Itsuun died in 1866, when he was 67 years old.
