Antique Sterling silver pair of Corinthian style candlesticks in a Neoclassical style with hand-chased bows, swags, with bead-edged borders, round removable nozzles and square bases. Made in Sheffield (Rockingham Street), 1902 Made by Thomas A Scott Fully English hallmarked for sterling 925 silver. The dimensions of this fine pair of hand-made antique silver candlesticks are: Length 13 cm Wide at base 7.7 x 7.7 cm Approx. 269 + 268 = 537 grams (Bruto weight; filled for balance, weighted with materials other than silver). (bobèches weigh 48 grams together) Condition: Good usable condition. Couple of tiny indentations here and there, mainly on the corners. Some of the lower square corners have tiny holes due of overpolishing through the years. One top of the candlestick, underneath the scone is a bit pressed downwards on one side.
