Exceptionally rare set of 3 victorian ladies boot salesman samples, dating approx. 1860-1890. The shoes are made of gutta-percha or a closely related 19th century composite material. This material was used during the second half of the 19th century for industrial display models. The set is very rare, because of the material. So far I found just 1 other set in the British museum. Unfortunately 1 of the smaller samples had some damage. But overall they are in a very good condition.
