古羅馬 青銅色 第七克劳迪亚军团的军团戒指

A Roman Military bronze ring with numeral “VII”, worn by a member of Legio VII Claudia. Rings of this type functioned as identification and status markers within the legion and may also have served as simple seal rings. The austere design suggests ownership by a legionary, non-commissioned officer, or veteran, rather than a senior officer. During the Imperial period, Legio VII Claudia was permanently stationed in the Balkans, particularly in Moesia Superior. Rings bearing only the legionary numeral are characteristic of military contexts along the Danube limes and associated civilian settlements (vici). Material: Bronze Date: Roman, 1st-3rd century AD Measurement: Approx: overall: 22x20 mm, ring size: 19 mm USA: 9 Condition: Extremely fine, see photo's Ringbox included. International registered Delivery. Provenance: The Supplier warrants that it has obtained this lot in a legal manner.
