宗教和精神物品 - .875 (84 Zolotniki) 銀 - 1900-1910 - 正统银香炉

Antique Orthodox silver censer (incense burner), late 19th – early 20th century. This finely crafted Orthodox liturgical censer is made of solid silver and reflects the traditional form and symbolism used in Eastern Christian religious practice. Based on its form, engraving technique, patina and Orthodox iconography, the piece can be attributed to the late 19th or very early 20th century, a transitional period marked by hand-crafted ecclesiastical silverwork. The censer shows authentic signs of liturgical use, with a naturally aged surface and patina consistent with devotional objects of this period. Such wear is characteristic and expected for genuine religious items that were actively used in worship and memorial contexts. “Originally fitted with three chains, two original chains are present; one chain is missing. The object would therefore require restoration for functional liturgical use…” however, it remains a highly evocative and collectible devotional object, well suited for display, collection, or contemplative interior settings. A meaningful piece of Orthodox religious heritage, appealing to collectors of ecclesiastical silver, devotional artefacts, and historically significant religious objects.
