The body is richly decorated with two historical figures — a bearded scholar and an elegant lady — accompanied by calligraphic inscriptions and red seals. Each line of text is beautifully preserved; in most examples, the poetic inscriptions have partially faded, but here the painting remains crisp and vibrant. The teapot retains its original filigree metal handle with gilded fittings — a rare survival — adding elegance and contrast to the white-glazed body.
