Melodon majori is an extinct species of prehistoric mustelid (mustelidae) and an early evolutionary relative of modern Eurasian badgers (belonging to the subfamily Melinae). Fossils of this species are dating back approximately 5.3 to 11 million years ago. This fossil is very well mineralized, and the teeth are also very beautiful. This fossil can be displayed directly without a display stand.
