Wonderful and scenic 18th century South German cabinet in walnut and burl veneer, with two series of drawers on the front and a tabernacle concealing 7 smaller ones in the middle. The cabinet is covered with thick burl veneer, which includes fine maple and plum inlays and is in remarkably original condition. It rests on a fully detachable stand, which was purpose-built in the 19th century to support it. Overall, the state of preservation is excellent. Dimensions: 107 x 75 x 47 for the cabinet and 169 x 107 x 47 cm for the combined piece of furniture.
