The "Lance's Charizard" Pokémon card was included in the expansion pack "Pokémon Card★VS," released on July 19, 2001. It features an old back design (pre-e series), which differs from the current design. 1st Edition (1ED): The "1st Edition" logo is printed outside the border in the lower right corner of the card or near the bottom right of the illustration. This indicates the first edition of the VS series. While many "Pokémon Card★VS" cards were distributed as 1st Editions, due to production circumstances at the time, 1ED versions are currently more highly sought after by collectors and tend to fetch higher prices. Due to the popularity of Charizard, these cards still maintain high value.
