An original German mechanical desk clock produced by Gebr. Schumacher (Korbach, Germany), a well-known German clock manufacturer. The clock features a distinctive Art Deco design, with a chrome-plated metal case, strong geometric lines, and an elegant silver-toned dial.
The dial is marked “50 Jahre Gebr. Schumacher”, commemorating the manufacturer’s 50th anniversary, which allows the clock to be dated to approximately the 1930s–1940s. Marked “Made in Germany.”
The clock is equipped with a hand-wound mechanical movement, with rear winding and regulation controls. Classic hands with luminous inserts, typical for the period.
