Holger Bäckström and Bo Ljungberg founded Beck & Jung in the mid 1960s. Their geometric designs have become modern classics. The Ultima 15 ashtray is a perfect example of such a product. It was made in Denmark for Diverse Ting, Malmö. The ashtray offered for sale is in mat aluminium with aluminium lid and base. The design is striking with battlement-like geometry. The grid-like lid is removable. This vintage ashtray has patina (see photos). There is no damage, no dents, no dinks. The ashtray is embossed with the designer stamp on the base.
