Bizen ware - 茶杯套裝 - 石器 - Bizen 清酒套装
A Japanese Bizen ware sake set, consisting of one sake bottle (tokkuri) and two sake cups (guinomi).
This set is fired using traditional high-temperature wood firing, characteristic of Bizen pottery, resulting in natural ash glaze, earthy textures, and subtle kiln effects.
The pieces show a well-balanced form with strong presence, suitable for both use and display.
Each piece is signed on the base, and the set comes with its original signed wooden storage box (tomobako), indicating it was made by a Japanese potter rather than mass production.
Estimated to date from the late Showa to early Heisei period (circa 1970s–1980s).
A solid example of Japanese studio pottery, appreciated for its authenticity and functional beauty.
