Beautiful hour glass shaped vase by Venetian glass maker Carlo Moretti. In double layered, dark purple and white Murano glass. In a good condition. Minimal signs of use. Carlo Moretti is a “factory of originals” founded in 1958 by Carlo and Giovanni Moretti, two brothers both born on the island of Murano. Combining innovation and continuous research. Unique pieces, numbered and signed with their recognizable style, in a stylistic key in constant research for new, clean and essential lines, with the support of the technical innovation. The factory is still in existence today, mostly dedicated to re-issuing the designs by Carlo, who died in 2008.
