These vases are part of Rosenthal’s Studio Linie / Free Spirit design series from the 1990s (circa 1999), known for its innovative, contemporary forms that bridge fine art and functional design. They likely stem from the “Spirit” line, distinguished by fluid, organic Y-shaped silhouettes that stand out as sculptural objects in any interior. The pieces were created by the London-based design duo Robin Platt & Cairn Young, who began collaborating in 1991.
