Beautiful Chinese blue and white porcelain tea caddy, made in Jingdezhen during the Guangxu period (1875–1908). The vessel is decorated with two finely painted dragons amid clouds, bordered by two bands of waves and bats. The decoration is executed in a nice deep blue tone. The base bears a four-character Kangxi mark. The marked silver mounting is a later Dutch addition, dating to the early 20th century. Condition: the vase, perfect; the silver mounting, some minor dents/damages (see the photographs).
