Truly giant individuals are even more exceptional and remain poorly documented in the scientific literature. This particular fossil comes from a private collection assembled over 40 years ago and represents a uniquely well-preserved example. It exhibits strong morphological affinities with Salterocoryphe salteri, though the absence of the pygidium—a common feature among calymenid trilobites—prevents definitive species-level identification. For this reason, it is conservatively labeled as Salterocoryphe aff. salteri.
