A large famille verte and gilt oval porcelain 'Warriors' punch bowl. China, Qing dynasty (大清), early to mid 19th century. Particularly rare! Finely painted to the interior and exterior with a continuous scenes depicting warriors, palace terrace with ladies, mountainous landscape and trees. Geometrical band with four reserves with Chinese symbols under the top-rim. Band of iron red Ruyi-heads on the foot. Top-rim gilt. Dimensions: width - 33,6 cm; depth - 29,8 cm; height - 16,3 cm. Weight - 3205 g. Provenance: German private collection. UV- and day-light pictures included. Conditions report: a long hairline from the top-rim with associated small chips.
